About Air Manifest
GeTS’ Mexico Air Manifest service allows carriers to file required air manifest documentation electronically to Mexico Customs.
Transmission of the Air Manifest is required by SAT prior to the arrival of goods transported to Mexico. It consists of the harmonization of the data contained in the transport documents (Master and House Air Waybills) and the Air Cargo Manifests through the IATA Cargo-XML standard.
By electronic transmission to the Single Electronic Window (VUCEM), transport documents and cargo manifests are presented electronically to the SAT without the need to physically deliver the paper.
With GeTS’ electronic air manifest transmission service, the transporter obtains electronic notifications from the departure or arrival of the aircraft at the last foreign airport.
The service strengthens and standardizes the way the trade community communicates with the SAT and increases the reliability of the data entered.
