Other benefits include:
- Bulk data uploads
- User friendly
- 24/7 customer service
- No contract terms
CBSA requires exporters to declare their export shipments destined to non-US destinations according to time frames by mode.
Marine – no less than 48 hours before the goods are loaded onto the vessel
Air – no less than two hours before the goods are loaded onto the aircraft
Rail – no less than two hours before the railcar containing the goods is assembled to form part of the train for export
Postal – no less than two hours before the goods are delivered to the post office where they will be mailed
Any other mode – immediately prior to the exportation of the goods.
Exporters with goods value at $2,000 or more destined to any country other than the U.S., Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands, must complete an export declaration prior to export for each shipment exported from Canada. Regulated and controlled goods exported from Canada, must also be reported, regardless of value.
