About Ocean Manifest
GeTS’ Mexico Ocean Manifest is a web-based software solution for the transmission of maritime cargo manifest for shipments originating in and destined for México.
Transmission of maritime manifest is a requirement. Vessels need to submit advance electronic declarations for products transported to and from Mexico by sea. Ocean manifest filing involves electronic transmission of manifest information for shipments entering and leaving Mexico through shipping companies and shipping agents (NVOCC).
According to current regulations, the SAT requires that all ocean freight carriers electronically submit freight manifests to Mexican Customs 24 hours before goods are loaded on the vessel.
Using Mexico Ocean Manifest, logistics operators, freight forwarders and shipping agents can easily transmit the maritime manifesto to the SAT of México, through the Web Portal offered by GeTS or directly from its In-House System.
Submitting ocean manifests through GeTS will help save time and increase the traceability of your clients' transactions. Notifications on the status of the cargo are sent in real time to each user.
