KGH and GeTS in partnership for global Customs declaration and trade connectivity
KGH Customs Services and Global eTrade Services (GeTS) have signed a partnership agreement to simplify cross-continental customs processes for customers.
Just weeks after the EU - Singapore free trade agreement came into force November 21, KGH and GeTS inked a global partnership for customs management. The cooperation aims to facilitate their customers’ trade and customs management through advanced data integration and exchange of import and export data across continents.
"Utilization of source data throughout the customs process enhance quality and make the process effective to the benefit of our customers – at the core of the KGH business idea," says Vidar Gundersen, CCO at KGH.
With the agreement, KGH and GeTS form a strong alliance that combines state-of-the-art digital capability from two different continents in a partnership with global reach.
"GeTS is the perfect partner for KGH with their role as a national single window in Singapore and their commitment to innovation and quality," says Tove Gustafsson, CTO at KGH.
“With this partnership, our customers can harness CALISTA – a global supply chain orchestration platform to fulfil their cross-border compliance needs through the Customs node connectivity in Europe on top of the existing 29 Customs nodes. This will enhance trade connectivity between countries and we will continue to make trade more accessible, easier and predictable,” says Chong Kok Keong, CEO of GeTS.
