About E-Maritime Single Window
The International Maritime Organization (IMO) has adopted the mandatory requirements for the electronic exchange of information on cargo, crew and passengers as part of a revised and modernized annex to the Convention on Facilitation of International Maritime Traffic (FAL).
E-Maritime Single Window improves the governance of data across the maritime sector. Information can be retrieved and be presented as a whole with minimal inconsistencies supporting data harmonisation that is integral for building accurate risk assessments of cargoes as well as risk assessments on border management.
With its ‘One-Time Submission’ of maritime document and online payments, e-Maritime SW speeds up port clearance and revenue collection allowing stakeholders to reap the benefit of an efficient operation and enhanced compliance in the port community.
Complying with various maritime regulations are made easier with the implementation of the modern solution. E-Maritime SW proactively manages an ever-growing multitude of complex data on the unified platform which fosters quality compliances. E-Maritime Single window can operate as a standalone system or be deployed with other functional components of TFP.
