About Pan-Asian E-Commerce Alliance (PAA)
The Pan-Asian E-Commerce Alliance (PAA) was founded in July 2000 by CrimsonLogic (Singapore), TRADE-VAN Information Services Co. (Taiwan), and Tradelink Electronic Commerce Limited (Hong Kong SAR).
Starting with three members, the PAA has since expanded to include 11 e-commerce service providers, including CrimsonLogic (Singapore), Tradelink (Hong Kong), CIECC (China), Trade-Van (Taipei), KTNet (Korea), NACCS (Japan), DagangNet (Malaysia), TEDMEV (Macau), CAT Telecom (Thailand), InterCommerce (Philippines) and EDI-I (Indonesia). Other organizations sharing and interested in the goals of the PAA are welcome to apply for admission.
The PAA provides secure, trusted, reliable and value-added IT infrastructure and facilities to enhance seamless global trade. Businesses from participating countries benefit from uninterrupted cross-border trade, ready acceptance of cross-border approvals and certifications, secure and reliable paperless transactions, and the convenience of working with a single point of contact.
The PAA offers services built around international technical standards, secure technology and supported by a comprehensive legal framework. Its main service is secure cross border document and data exchange among customers through Alliance members.
